Worship night with ministry partner Gary Szymik

We are EXCITED and THRILLED and EXCITED (and did I say EXCITED?) to announce that our dear friends Gary and Nancy Szymik will be here to lead the ministry night on Sunday December 7th. Many of you are already familiar with Gary's worship and know the power and ability it has to usher in a strong and pure move of the Holy Spirit.
We expect our house to be packed out so we definitely need you to RSVP asap. We are leaving for Romania this coming Tuesday and will return Dec 2nd. The more time we have to plan over the next couple of days will truly help us out. If the crowd is too large for our home, we will see if we can move it to another home (we have a ministry couple that has offered their larger home for events like this- we'll check if it's available and keep you posted of the correct location.)
Please reply to prayhard@tds.net to let us know if you plan to come and give us the number of people attending. We ask that you would also bring an offering to bless Gary and Nancy that evening as ministry like this is their prime source of income. We want to receive all they have to give and sow back into them with thanks and generosity.
Children are welcome of course- we just ask that all that are present engage in what God is doing and allow others to do the same! We love the children though! We love the teens! We love the young adults! We love the adults! Come one, come all- let us worship God together in Spirit and Truth!

Gary was raised in Stevens Point, WI. After running away from home in his early teens, he gave his life to Christ at the age of 17. Guitar playing has always been one of his main loves.
In 1988, Gary married his wife, Nancy and launched into full time ministry. They have ministered itinerantly as evangelists and on church staffs since. Their travels have taken them to many parts of the US and to Mexico and India. Maggie and Jacob, their two children, travel and minister with them.
Gary's style is one of a Psalmist. He not only uses contemproary worship songs, but in much of his ministry he creates spontaneous lyrics and music. Many of these anointed impromptu songs are personal and prophetic, directed toward individuals in the audience. Tears and weeping are a common occurrence as hungry and needy hearts hear the
"word of the Lord" sung over them.

Eileen here. Mike will be sending out some stuff to each of you soon but I wanted to say "hey" and give you a little update. We met last night and had a great time. Now- I know some of you may not have KNOWN we were meeting because well, Mike said we were meeting next on the 17th (?) and then he thought he sent a follow up but never actually
did :) Hey, he's trying :)
So- there were about 7 of us last night- 4 being teens. We went ahead and just went for it like usual and had an amazing time. Mike and I had a worksheet for each person to do and that is what we will be sending to those of you who weren't here. IF you plan to come at all in the future, when you get the worksheet- please take some time to pray, soak and then (or at the same time) fill it out and send it back to us. We're going to be using these to help us bring direction and meet the needs of those who are coming.
So next week- the 14th we'll be meeting for the first "teaching session". At this point, you don't need to bring anything other than your Bible and a notebook. Please email me and let me know if you're planning to come so I can be sure to set things up properly. We'll plan to go from 6:30-8:00. (maybe 8:30)
BTW, with school back in session, we are wrapping un on Sunday evenings by 8:30p.m.

More Sunday fun

Hey all.
We just had a great time in the Lord last Sunday. Just soaked in the
sweet presence of God and then God turned around and blessed us by
showing us his power. Thank you, God.
I think that for a while we will be meeting every other Sunday. That
makes the next Sunday meeting on 7/6. Sorry if some of you are
planning to be away for the weekend, but we're going to just try and
make this consistently every 2 weeks... at least through the summer.
Put these in your calender as the meeting times:

As for what we are doing, please feel free to contact me at
mberglund@tds.net to let me know if you have something that the Lord
has given you that you think is for the Sunday. Also, if you want to
bring a guitar or electric keyboard or even a CD for worship, just let
me know that too. I will be praying for the meeting, if we are on the
same page, then I'll probably give you the go ahead.
Overall, this is just about ENCOURAGING, BUILDING UP and EQUIPPING us
to be able to do what God is calling each of us to do. We believe
that this is the purpose of being the Church.

Sunday Ministry Nights

God is so good! As you may have already seen either personally or on our blog/email (www.thetruthministry.blogspot.com), God has blessed us with some great ministry time last weekend. God also spoke to us clearly...this blessing need not be limited to just a single day or weekend. He spoke to Eileen and I to start having regular gatherings at out house on Sunday nights.
We ask those of you who are interested in being on this “Sunday ministry night” email list to reply directly to us so we can begin to send you specific emails regarding dates and times. Even if we already have your email would you please reply to us again at prayhard@tds.net.
Who may be interested in this?
----you are currently not attending any church meetings because you can’t find a church that believes what you believe.
----you are attending church meetings and happy with your local church, but are interested in seeking God for more.
----You are attending church regularly but want to grow in the gifts of the Holy Spirit and interaction with other Christian believers of different denominations.
----You are attending church meetings via web or audio and have no local Body to gather with.
----You don’t know if you really believe in Jesus or God or salvation or healing or the Bible and you want to check it out for yourself and learn more.
----You want to find people you “can run with” through your Christian journey and people who will speak life over you and encourage you.
----You want a safe place to practice and grow in your giftings.
I’m sure there are a lot more reasons why this might appeal to you and whatever that reason is, that's ok. However, let me emphatically state: WE ARE NOT STARTING A CHURCH. If you have membership at a church, we are not asking you to stop that. We have giftings from God, but no vision from God for starting a Church. We have vision to get together with THE CHURCH (the Body/the people) so that we can encourage one another, equip one another, and love one another. We also want to have everything that God wants us to have and do everything that God is calling us to do. This may entail going out and doing ministry in the streets, at events or anywhere we can find people who need the love of the Father and to feel His touch. This may also entail bringing in gifted teachers and speakers from various parts of the country with whom we have relationship and know will bless the body of Christ.
If this sounds like something you’d like to be a part of or at least get emails about it so you can attend on occasion, please email us at prayhard@tds.net so that we can put you on our ministry list. This will be a separate sublist of our larger “Truth Ministry” email list. If you want to forward this link to others you think would be interested, we are OK with that. Whoever God wants to bring to our house, familiar or not, we want just want to be an encouragement to the body.
