What is The Table? Why does it exist?

There is a place for everyone at The Table. Our goal is to gather in Christian unity, connect with one another, and honor and celebrate God. We exist to celebrate the diversity and unity of the Body, and, to encourage and equip all to go forth and share HIs love. We desire to show the world a better and truer image of God and we do it all in a very relaxed and relational setting.

When does The Table take place?
The Table meets the first Saturday of every month from 9:30 am- 12 noon

Where is The Table?
The Table takes place at the Berglund home in Mt. Pleasant (Racine), Wisconsin. It is a pet-free and smoke-free environment. Contact us directly for exact location.

What exactly happens at The Table?
Each month is slightly different than the next, but in general the following things take place:
​
We all gather together at literal tables to feast on the breakfast buffet that Dr. Mike (and crew) have prepared for us! Eggs, sausage, bacon, fruit, baked oatmeal, waffles, pancakes, you name it!

Unhurried conversations and laughter- usually lots of laughter- begin to fill the room. Connections are formed, relationships are deepened, hearts (and stomachs!) are filled.
​
When the time seems right we move into a time of worship where we sing, pray, prophesy (if led), and wait on the Lord. Each month is different as we go where the Holy Spirit leads us.
​
We then transition into a time of teaching and/or testimony.
​
Finally, we always end with communion- a different member of the Body leading us each month.

How can I reserve a seat at The Table? Is there a cost?
There is no cost involved, though we do occasionally take an offering that goes directly intoThe Truth Ministry. This is used solely to offset any ministry expenses, such as food for The Table, missions trips, local conferences, etc. We do this as the Spirit leads us and seems to be about once every 4 months or so. All donations are tax deductible as The Truth Ministry is a 501c3 non-profit.
